The George E. Tompkins Municipal Complex will be closed to the public Tuesday through Friday through the end of April.  We will open to the public by appointment only on Mondays through the end of April. To schedule an appointment please call the main number 732-793-9100. Limited types of transactions will be conducted. To the extent the weather allows we will meet with people that have Monday appointments outside in an tented area adjacent to the employee entrance on the Boulevard side of the building. People wishing to make an appointment will be asked the following questions at the time the appointment is made and again when appearing for the appointment. 1. Are you or anyone in your household experiencing flu-like symptoms, such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath?  2. In the last 14 days have you traveled to a high-risk area for transmission of COVID-19?  3. Have you been in close contact with someone confirmed or is being evaluated for COVID-19?

Boardwalk and beaches (ocean and bayfront) are closed.

Playground, basketball court and tennis court are closed.

Planning Board meetings scheduled for March and April are cancelled.

All Municipal Court sessions are cancelled through the end of May.

We encourage the public to utilize online payment options for taxes and utility payments or pay via check by mail. A drop box is available in the foyer of the main entrance on Sherman Avenue.

Shutoffs for delinquent electric and water/sewer account are suspended through the end of June.      

We encourage the public to use the Report It app (code enforcement complaints);  VIPLY app (season beach badge sales); and Recycle Coach app (trash and recycling schedule). The apps are available from the Google Play and Apple App stores.You can also access these platforms from your desktop computers.

Senior bus service and events are cancelled through the end of May.

Community Center scheduled events and meetings are cancelled through the end of May.
