CDBG Program Public Hearing Notice

BOROUGH OF SEASIDE HEIGHTS

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

Public Notice is hereby given that the Borough Council of the Borough of Seaside Heights has authorized two (2) public hearings concerning the 2021 Ocean County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application listed below. The first hearing will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, 5:00 PM. The second hearing will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, 5:00 PM.  Both hearings will be held in the Municipal Court Room located at the George E. Tompkins Municipal Complex, 901 Boulevard, Seaside Heights, New Jersey (second floor above the firehouse). The purpose of the hearings is to select and prioritize CDBG applications for submittal to Ocean County for funding consideration under the FY 2021 CDBG Program.

Proposed Projects

Senior citizen outdoor fitness equipment for Kearney Ave and/or Hancock Ave parks 

Senior citizen recreation (e.g., pickleball court, bocce ball, etc.)

Economic development project (Boulevard Redevelopment)

Amount

Estimated cost is $40,000
